WELCOME TO THE PINK LADIES’ TRACTOR ROAD RUN.

The Ladies’ Tractor Road Run

What’s so special about Annie Chapman’s Pink Ladies?  You need to go back 20 years to understand.  In 2003 Annie and her husband John, hatched a plan to do something unique in the summer of 2004: a ladies only tractor road run.  It was to raise money for Cancer Research UK’s breast cancer research. The idea was ‘simple’.

Each lady had to find a tractor, learn how to drive it, raise sponsorship and cover 20 miles on the day of the run to earn the money.  To everyone’s astonishment in 2004 50 ladies raised £16,500.  So it couldn’t stop there; and it certainly didn’t!  By 2022 many hundreds of the now famous pink ladies from all over the country had raised a total of £896,000.  This year, 2024, is the year the Pink Ladies are determined to add to the £1million already raised with your help.
